I manage a warehouse with 7 doors that get damaged frequently by drivers. Every time I call durable doors they come the same day or the next day for service and are finished in a timely manner. Elesvan has been here multiple times now and has been great every time. I wouldn’t even think of using someone else for what we need.

I hired these guys back in 2013 to install 2 garage doors and 2 openers. The price was fair, and the installation looked good, however 6years later due improper mounting a bracket that holds the torsion spring to the wall the doors weren't function correctly. I contacted them about the problem. When the service guy arrivedto look at the problem He made the necessary repairs that should have been done initially which he acknowledged. Then he handed me a bill for 100$.I said to him if the install had been done correctly the first time this wouldn't have happened his response was well, we didn't the openers. Then I showed him the original invoice he still wouldn't take responsibility and stand behind their work. charged me anyway. I did find it kind of ironic that the phrase on his truck said DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. Well, I'll know who not to call or recommend the next time. Truthfully, I had no problem with the charge if it was due tonormal wear and tear but this was caused by an incorrect installation.
Durable Door replaced our garage door opener a few years ago, quick, easy and painless. One of the cables just broke yesterday, called and they were able to come out today. Elesvan did a quick job replacing the cables, Sprayed some of the rollers, joints, and bearings to stop the squeaking (somehow my spray couldn’t seem to find the right spots), and also gave me some tips on maintenance. Very helpful, did a great job. I will definitely use them again.

Our Buyers inspection turned up missing eyes and a tension issue with one of our garage doors, something that we had never realized. I called Durable Door and requested next day service and they were more than happy to oblige. Their technician Elesvan Rojas arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and promptly provided us with the cost for repair. The existing garage door was original to the home but in an effort to save us money, Elesvan installed eyes, however as suspected they didn’t work with the old opener. So we made the decision to replace it and luckily Elesvan had one on the truck that fit. In a couple of hours, he installed the new opener, greased all tracks for smooth operation and inspected and greased the tracks of the other garage door too! Elesvan was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He made the needed repairs at a reasonable cost!
Our double door at the Newton VFW could not be locked as there was a problem with the push bar on Friday 3-1-24. I called and spoke with Amelia, and she was able to schedule for a technician to come today, Saturday 3-2-24.The technician, Elesvan Rojas, was able to determine the key slot for the push bar was loose. In a matter of 15 minutes, the door was repaired. Elesvan was prompt on arriving, professional, and courteous.Amelia was professional and courteous as well.Kudos to Durable Door and their staff.

If I could give negative stats I’d do it without thinking twice about it. They say you can judge someone by the way they drive, it’s a shame one employee can ruin the reputation of an entire company because of how he drives.11am on 287 a white Tacoma with this company’s name plastered all over the work truck cut off a few cars at 80-90mph almost causing an accident. After that swerved back over 3 lanes all at once to catch the turnpike. Disgusting.If this is how they drive for the world to see imagine what they’re doing working on your property when you aren’t looking. Go else where.
Had an Emergency situation and after a quick call to Durable Door, one of their Techs was at my house within an hour. We found Durable Doors from a local recommendation and are so glad we did. One of the reasons we loved the service was that the booking was super easy, and the office staff gave us all the pricing info upfront (flat service fee, hourly rate, + any parts). We called a few other places and either didn't get a call back within 24 hours or pricing was not disclosed. Our tech was Elesvan and he was very polite and worked efficiently to repair one door, install a lock on another, and put oil on all tracks.
A team of experienced technicians with more than 25 years came to my house too fix one of my two doors. As soon as they saw the door they knew exactly what they had to do. They didn't waste any time un-attaching the door panels from the overhead coil and I was in business within the hour. They even oiled and adjusted both doors. Money well spent. They were not only knowledge and knew the technological aspect of the lift master product but they were funny and good humor too.

Great experience. We had to wait about 10 weeks for the doors to be delivered to Durable due to Covid shipping and manufacturing issues which is understandable. Other then that everything went smoothly. They kept us informed through the entire process. Received a call last Friday that the doors were in, scheduled an appointment for installation on Thursday. We had a LiftMaster garage door opener replaced today. The appointment was for 07:30 am. About 07:20 am technicians Jose and Jose arrived and promptly went to work. In short order the new system was installed. The gentlemen went over every aspect of the new system with me. They also checked our second door system addressing any loose wiring and lubricating the garage door rails. Jose, also shared some tips to keep the door maintenance at a high level. I called at 9:00 AM, they quickly scheduled the job, Ellis arrived at the time he was scheduled, immediately assessed the problem, and made the repairs in a thoroughly complete manner. It was a pleasure to deal with such nice people.
We tried installing a motor for our garage door twice. Both times Sears told us it was either impossible or it would cost so much money. Henry came out from Durable Door and was so pleasant and walked us through the process in so much detail. He told us it would be work, but not impossible. He and his team did such a great job and now we finally have all the right railings and a motor to open the door.
Our installers Jose and Juan were excellent. They completed our project ahead of schedule and thoroughly explained everything. Overall a great company to do business with.
On Wednesday, Jim Hurley came to our house to talk about a new garage door and opener. My husband was adamant about the door being vinyl. A work order was written up with the price. After getting another quote from a different company, we decided to use Durable. We did notice the work order did not say vinyl. I called Jim and he asked why not steel. I asked him if we had gone with him, we would have gotten steel, not vinyl? He then stated I will get a price on vinyl and get back with you. If we hadn't notice that the word vinyl was missing on the work order, we would have gotten steel. That is a deceiving way to do business.
From the minute the men showed up they were professional and easy to work with. They had some custom work that needed to be done and did that without a flaw. Jose and apprentice Jose worked very quickly ,then cleaned the area after they finished better than it was when they found it. I would give them 10 stars if it would allow it, but five is the best I could offer. Even the owner Jim came out to my house personally to measure and make sure everything was perfect so that the order would be completed without any issues.Durable door services all of New Jersey and I would recommend them anywhere in the state.

Jose and Juan installed out three new garage doors and openers; they were excellent in many ways. They were courteous, friendly, efficient, detail oriented, and left the work area spotlessly clean. They also set up all the electronic tools on my phone, as well as programming all three openers to our remotes and cars. The doors look and work amazing. Highly recommend them!!

They were very accommodating for scheduling and the work was done efficiently and very well. Cliff replaced our broken garage door springs and pulleys. Looks and works great!
